Barns and ranches give a wedding two different kinds of light, and the plan has to honour both: open-field glow before sunset, string-light warmth inside afterwards. We take the couple out to the field first and come back inside once the reception already looks the way it should on film.
From coastal estates to city hotels, Berkshires weddings carry a traditional rhythm: church or garden ceremony, formal portraits, a seated dinner. We run the family formals quickly and quietly so the rest of the evening can be candid. If we have not worked Quonquont Farm yet we visit it before your day — light, timing, logistics — so nothing about the venue is a surprise on the morning of.
At Quonquont Farm the sun sets at 8:29 PM in June and 6:08 PM in October, with golden hour opening around 7:46 PM on a June evening and 6:23 PM in late September. Start a summer ceremony near 5:44 PM and you will still have the good light for portraits; in autumn move it an hour earlier. The full month-by-month table is on our Berkshires page.

Not yet, and we would rather tell you so. We visit Quonquont Farm before your wedding and plan the ceremony light, the portrait spots and the walking time between them.
No. Olivia Layne Studios works nationwide and travel is part of every collection, so a wedding at Quonquont Farm is priced exactly like one in our own neighbourhood.
Most Berkshires couples book eight to twelve months out; peak summer and autumn dates go first. A signed agreement and your deposit hold the date, and the balance is due two weeks before the wedding.
